The Repeat Sexual Predator Prevention Act
Passes the House Judiciary Committee
The Repeat Sexual Predator Prevention Act, which I introduced this year along with Delegate Vanessa Atterbeary, is one step closer to becoming law!
Last night, the Senate version of The Repeat Sexual Predator Prevention Act passed the House Judiciary Committee. The committee conformed the bill to the House version which has already been sent to the Governor for his signature.

With the continued support of the Asian American & Pacific Islander Caucus, Black Caucus, Latino Caucus, Women’s Caucus, and dozens of advocacy groups across Maryland, I expect the full Senate to approve the bill over the next couple of days.

Without your phone calls, letters, and activism, this accomplishment would not have been possible. I have been humbled by your support and want say thank you.

Senator Jim Brochin
Maryland State Senate, District 42
(guess I’ll need to change this soon)
